Counselors Academy is a member-driven organization in the highest sense of the term.
Members are nominated and elected to serve three-year terms on 14-member Executive Committee, a volunteer body responsible for operating the organization with the assistance of staff from the PRSA. At least one member of the Executive Committee must reside and practice in Canada to assure representation of the interests of members throughout North America.
The Executive Committee makes policy decisions and leads the development and implementation of ongoing programs for members, including the annual Spring Conference, teleseminars, Counsel, eCounselor and many others. Work ineach major program area is the product of broad-based committees that provide many opportunities for significant contributions CA's talented member professionals.
