Sydney has worked in agency public relations, marketing and advertising for nearly 20 years. Through her association with some of the leading public relations and advertising firms in the Rocky Mountain region, she has served a wide variety of consumer and business-to-business clients on the local, regional, and national levels. She has been active in numerous sectors including consumer products, technology, economic development, travel, transportation and entertainment. Sydney currently is managing director for Arment Dietrich, Inc., a boutique public relations firm with offices in Chicago and Denver as well as affiliations in San Francisco and Hong Kong. As managing director, she oversees the Denver office and has responsibility for directing a number of accounts. Prior to joining Arment Dietrich, she co-founded Ayers Communications, Inc. The firm served a variety of clients including those in the technology, professional services, manufacturing, real estate, government and nonprofit sectors. Sydney previously worked with Servoss Public Relations and DDB/Needham serving several prominent Rocky Mountain region accounts. Sydney is a past president of the Colorado chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She also is on the board of directors of the Colorado chapter of the Business Marketing Association where she regularly presents on issues related to marketing public relations. An active member of her community, Sydney serves the Fairmount Elementary School PTA as legislative liaison. She also serves on the legislative forum for the Jefferson County Public School system and is on the board of directors for the Academy of Urban Learning, a new Denver Public Schools charter school serving predominately homeless and at-risk youth.
